Imagine standing at the top of a steep couloir. It is bluebird, the air is crisp and cold, the snow deep and light. You're contemplating your day, the quietness around you. Your friends are watching from below. You take a deep breath, time stops.

You drop in, link a few turns, play with the terrain, gain speed, take a little air. Snow is flying over your head. It feels so effortless, light yet powerful, controlled yet relaxed.

At the bottom, high fives go around. You're grinning so hard it hurts. You are content, full of life, exhilarated. For a split second it feels like you would be ok never skiing again. You've touched "it", you're in that state of quasi-spiritual awakening. You're more alive than you've ever been.

Crown Skis is stoked to introduce our 2009/10 models, the Kensho and the Satori.

Kensho and Satori are Japanese Zen Buddhism terms used to describe enlightment experiences, flashes of sudden self-awareness. Kinda like the moments we wish you to experience on our skis.
